E-Business - Conducting Business Electronically !!

Today's Business is not just about dealing with customers who come through the door or telephone you.  It is about becoming an exporter of your products & services from your local town to everywhere else in your country and possibly the world.

Due to the fact that most of our work requires us to  be in attendance at the client's premises, we limit our E-Business services to Support by Telephone, E-Mail & Remote, Off-Site Client's Work that is Transmitted Electronically.  When everyone has affordable high speed internet we will then, finally be able to attend the client's premises in a Virtual Environment.

We already do undertake work using the Telephone & Email, whereby we design Complete Accounting Company Structures that you can then enter data into using your accounting package, Spreadsheets, DatabasesTraining or Support Notes, Courses & Support Solutions

There are 3 main levels of conducting business electronically.

  1. E-Mail Helps You Stay In Touch With Your Clients !!

Today's Business forgets that its greatest source of income is from its past & existing Client Base.  It is also the best source of New Clients, that have been recommended by someone from this Client Base.

Keeping in touch with the people on this Client Base is much cheaper than it has ever been.  It is Much Cheaper Than    Telephone - Fax - Bulk Mail - Adverts - Flyers & Leaflets.

Today we have E-Mail (Electronic Mail) which is Much Quicker & Cheaper.  With the use of a Database, that is kept up-to-date, you can also identify anyone that does not have an E-Mail address and take the appropriate action, to stay in touch with them, so long as you advertise your E-Mail Address.  You could also start an E-Mailing List of Potential Clients that wish to stay in touch and even produce a regular E-Mail Newsletter to keep them informed of changes.

  1. E-Marketing Lets You Reach More New Clients !!

Historically Businesses used to send out costly catalogues, that included drawings or pictures & prices of the latest products.  They were sent to Other Towns both Near & Far to reach new sources of income.  These were sent to the general store, customers would order from these catalogues and the storekeeper would deduct a commission and forward the orders with the balance of payment on a monthly or weekly basis, to keep the costs down.

Today Businesses still send out simular catalogues to  towns Other Towns both Near & Far, but these are sent directly to potential customers.  Things are much cheaper and faster today, but printing catalogues & postage are still relatively expensive.

Today, you can use the Internet for E-Marketing to achieve the same objectives by having a Web-Site.  You can change the products, pictures or prices as they change and everyone can view it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.  So long as you always have a section containing you contact details and an E-Mail request form, people can contact you.

If in all your literature you advertise your E-Mail & Web-Site Addresses, then it will get known.

  1. E-Commerce Lets Clients Order & Pay Directly !!

E-Commerce roughly requires 6 things as follows:-

  1. Make sure your Products & Prices are always up-to-date.
  2. Try to show Delivery Delays on Out-Of-Stock Products.
  3. Show your Prices in Your Currency, What That Currency Is & Any Taxes That Apply.
  4. Having an On-Line order form that adds up the order.
  5. Having the ability to take Secure On-Line Payment (use a 3rd Party Bank Service).
  6. Confirm Order, Delivery & Payment to The Customer.

Each element requires greater investment.

Today you must at least have some form of a Web presence.
